Nine Months!

I can't believe another month has passed, and here we are again celebrating another of Hannah's birthdays!  This morning was busy with back to back soccer games (last of the season), then going to the library and grocery shopping.  Then coming home and putting away groceries and library books and playing football (always more and more football).  It wasn't until I was relaxing on the sofa when the sun was going down that I realized that today was the big nine month birthday!  So, I grabbed my camera and took the little girl out for a quick photo shoot.  She was only too happy for a bit of fresh air and to watch her big brothers play football.  (She cracks up when Gabriel says "down, set, hike!)  A beautiful evening, a beautiful girl, and beautiful brothers and sister that love that girl so.

Eight Months!

This is quickly becoming Hannah's birthday blog!  We celebrated today by going to Emmanuel Episcopal church to visit this Remarkable Tree and mushroom hunt.  I forgot Hannah's hat, and it was raining, which explains the pair of pants on her head!  She certainly doesn't seem to mind!

Here is Hannah at the base of the oak tree next to a previously harvested (not by us) maitake.  You can see her one little white tooth if you look closely.

Hannah held onto that bagel for over an hour~ we had her favorite lunch- Bodo's bagels:)

We played in the nursery too.  This is the first time Hannah had ever been in any kind of bouncy toy seat~ she had a grand time!

Seven Months!

 This is the only picture I took of Hannah on her seven month birthday!  We all, including the littlest miss, have minor colds.  Outside was cool and cloudy today so we snuggled up to watch some Harry Potter.  Hannah was happy to just be a part of the gang. 
I do have a backlog of very cute Hannah (and other little people) pictures, like these two, Hannah's first dip in the ocean!

Six Months!

 Our baby girl turned half a year today!  Seems like such a monumentous birthday!  Ella, Joshua, and Gabriel photographed our misty morning banana muffin picnic.  Hannah now tries to eat everything in sight!

Today Joshua was waiting out in the van while I got our things ready to go to Crozet.  When I came out he said, "You know, we could live in here.  We've got air conditioning and lemonade.  We could just drive around and this could be our house."  He was quiet for a moment and then said,"Oh, but what about he Christmas tree?"

 Joshua has rescued my bike from its lonely state in the basement and has been cruising around like a madman.  He just astounds me!  This is a BIG bike for a seven year old to be riding!

Gabriel, meanwhile, has upgraded to Joshua's bike!  I have to keep reminding myself (for many reasons) that he is only four.

FIVE Months!

Pear upside-down cake, candles, cards and balloons to celebrate our happy five month old!

Best of all was tonight at bedtime when Hannah looked up at me and started saying ma ma ma ma.
