Ella wasn't really grumpy here; just afraid it was going to thunderstorm while we were out walking. And yes, she did walk around Lexington and eventually go to gymnastics in this outfit, and no, I did not feel like telling her why I thought it was inappropriate, especially while she was carrying the rainbow umbrella.
Anyhow, we had a nice walk, stopped to play at the creek and found some more treasures:
I LOVE the tooth thing, the bone part is actually fossilized! Mostly today the kiddies played outside and with their new Star Wars Legos... then took the Legos outside so they could do both at the same time. I did a bit of Spring cleaning with the merry breezes blowing in.
Can you find the clone trooper?
This is so great!!! Oh, I just love Ella's outfit. Last week when we were staying in Richmond, I bought Sam and Mary Margaret some new PJs at Target. The lady from the Ronald Macdonald house was driving us to the hospital from Target. When we got there, I realized Sam had changed (in the car) into his skin-tight shorts/t-shirt clone trooper pjs, and was wearing them with knee high socks and tennis shoes. Mary Margaret had also changed into her skin-tight hello kitty pjs, and she was wearing knee high snow boots. We got a few looks, but they felt great about themselves!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the treasure display!!!
The freedom to be exactly who you are is a most amazing gift.
